Jewelry Foolery
Hi everyone.. Fola again... o(╥﹏╥)o
Okay, everything that could go wrong has officially gone wrong now, but that means things can only go up from here right? ( ‘́⌣’̀)/(˘̩̩ε˘̩ƪ)
After waiting a good 2 and a half weeks to hear back from our connection with the jewelry manufacturer we were hoping to use, the only news they had for us with that our arrangements fell through the floor...
The most frustrating part really was the time wasted, in those two and a half weeks we could have easily already found someone else to do the jewelry for us, and it's time we can't get back now （；¬＿¬)
To make matters worse, the specific manufacturer we were hoping to work with would have had significantly cheaper rates than some of the other we've found, which means unfortunately the price of the jewelry is going to have to rise now, and we're coming closer and closer to the end of our budget... (ó﹏ò｡)
But as I already said, once you hit rock bottom, things can only go up from here! (★｀･ω･)ゞ The swatch books I've ordered from some fabric printers are due to arrive next week, and I've already began sewing the samples, so hopefully we'll still be on track for opening at the end of May/early June.
I've also emailed another jewelry manufacturer who I can liaise with personally so hopefully I'll hear back from them after the weekend and things will go much more smoothly from here on out.
Bumps along the way are to be expected, though I will say this is a lot more than I expected o(･´д･｀o)))三(((o´･д｀･)o but hopefully from here we'll be on the smooth path again.
