A Dress That Fits Like Heaven

As a large community of many unique individuals, EGL wearers come in many different shapes and sizes. However, we realise that for some wearers with body types outside the typical Japanese physique, it can be hard at times to find clothing that works well with their figures; which is why we've created the Uniquely & Wonderfully Made Initiative.

Through this initiative, we hope to tackle some of the biggest complaints we hear from Western EGL wearers such as height, bust and sizing availability issues. We hope to do this by offering select customizable features for each piece that help us cater to the wearers specific needs. That means, whether you're tall and chubby, or short and thin, or regular height and busty - you should be able to buy a dress that matches your specific body type!

3 Skirt Lengths

A big part of the Lolita & Otome fashion is the idea of modesty, and for most this means a skirt that hits around the knee, but for the taller individuals in our community, this may sometimes be easier said than done. Likewise, some skirts may even be too long for some shorter individuals.

We decided to tackle this issue by offering all of our Skirts, JSKs and OPs with 3 different skirt lengths: (from shortest to longest) Princess, Lady & Maiden. Thus, whether height is your motivation or you just have a preference for a certain skirt length, you will now have the option to choose how long you would like your skirt to be.

One thing to note is that with dresses, the bodice length will remain the same regardless of skirt length. If you would like your bodice length to be altered please be sure to add our alterations option to your cart before check out.

Does 'One Size' Fit All?

Now, probably the biggest struggle with sizing found in our community is that lack of options catering to individuals who lie outside the typical Japanese body type, to the point of it actually causing some people to unfortunately feel like they have to leave the fashion.

As our brand's concept revolves greatly around creating clothes that fit like Heaven, our sizes caters for a larger range of different physiques, whether you lean towards plus size or petite!

Regular Sizes

Our sizes typically are split into 2 categories: Delicate (Smaller) & Delightful (Larger). We decided to use these terms to promote a more body positive message.

Usually all of our pieces will be offered in multiple sizes of each of these categories - typically resulting in 4-5 sizes per piece! This along with our different skirt lengths means its easier to find a piece that fits you perfectly, no matter your body type. But if you still can't find something perfect then there's also our:

Custom Sizing Option

Should you find you still lie outside* of our standard sizes, we offer a flat rate custom sizing fee for each piece. Simply send us your measurements and we'll gladly do what we can to make you a piece that fits to your stature.

*Please not custom sizing is not available if you fit in one of our pre-existing sizes, if you need changes made to a piece, then please add these changes as alterations instead.

Alteration Options

Even with all these different sizing options, you may still find that something just doesn't fit the way it should, maybe you have long arms or wider shoulders? Well fear not, as we also have a alterations option with a list different options from wider arm holes to shorter bodices. From here you can select any alterations that aren't encompassed in the sizing options you have already picked. Not to mention, the best part is most of our alterations options are completely free!

If you are ordering more than one piece we will often email you to confirm these alterations before beginning to make your pieces.

Customization

Part of our concept as a brand is to allow wearers to show their unique charms through our clothing, so if you'd like to make a minor change to one of our pieces that isn't covered by our alterations options, then please send us an inquiry describing what you'd like to do and we'll see if the changes are possible for you.
