Introducing H.A. Bespoke

We've previous introduced our Uniquely & Wonderfully Made Initiative in terms of our unique sizing system, but now we want to take this to the next level. With our new H.A. Bespoke service, we hope to help you create completely custom one-off pieces. Now you can finally take that dream dress design that's be locked inside your head and have it turned into a real piece in your wardrobe. What's more, we also offer up our prints to be part of your creative process.

The Creation Process

After receiving your inquiry, we'll email you back to discuss the details of your bespoke order; this would be the ideal time to ask any questions and let us know any key information about what you would like. We'll also give you addition information about the H.A. Bespoke service.

Then is the design stage - each individual piece will count as a new design, and there's no limit to how many designs you can have done in one order. Once your design is finished you have the option to have your piece produced by our in-house seamstress, or you can keep your design and have it made by a local seamstress. For this reason there will be an upfront fee for designs.

Should you decide to have us create the piece for you, next will be securing the necessary fabrics. If you are providing your own fabrics then that is completely welcome, but you can also use one of our existing print fabrics or have us design a brand new print for you; however the latter two options will incur charges. We'll give you a breakdown of any other materials such as lining and lace that may be necessary for your item.

Finally will be the creation process, where we take everything off the page and turn your dream dress into a reality, and of course, make sure it fits like heaven!

Price List

The cost of our H.A. Bespoke service is always unique, just like your piece, so here's a quick breakdown of how we typically decide how much your piece(s) will cost to make. Though these are only guidelines, it gives you an idea of how much you piece(s) will cost.

Design Fee

This covers the creation of a sketch for your piece(s) and any necessary revisions.

$0 if you provide your own design

$35 for 1 Piece (+$5 for complex designs)
$55 for 2 Pieces (+$8 for complex designs)
$70 for 3 Pieces (+$12 for complex designs)
$85 for 4 Pieces (+$15 for complex designs)

+ $8 per small accessory (e.g. wristcuffs, hair clips, headbands etc)
*Discounts available for simple skirt designs.

Labour Fee
This covers pattern making, any prototyping necessary, and the sewing process.

$20 to $50 per piece depending on complexity of the design & time required to sew it.
*Orders with multiple simplistic pieces may be considered for discounted labour fees.

Aesthetic Supplies Fee

This covers the fabric that will appear on the outside of your dress, usually the printed fabric.

$0 if you supply your fabric
Up to $30 for up to 2 meters of our existing print
Up to $60 for up to 4 meters of our existing print

Completely custom prints start at $120, price is determined by complexity and yardage.
Inquire if you would like us to source a non-print fabric for you.

Structural Supplies Fee
This covers the miscellaneous supplies that go into making your pieces.

$18 covers basic structure (e.g. threads, buttons, elastic, partial lining etc.)
$25 covers decorative structure (e.g ribbon, lace, full lining, collars etc.)

$30 covers excess structure (e.g. boning, built-in petticoats etc.)

These are charged per piece.
Discounts may apply if multiple pieces use the same structural supplies.

Shipping Fees
These are discounted for our usual shipping fees!

All these prices are subject to change on a case by case basis and are here to serve as a guideline, but we will always finalise a price with you before any payments are taken so please do inquire for a final price quote or for any discounts!
